私は陶器絵付けの絵画化を試みる。

その技法やプロセス、あるいは思考を取り込み、釉薬や上絵の具の層を重ねていくように、画面に絵の具のレイヤーを重ねる。

そして焼成によって化学反応が起こるように、絵の具による表層の現象を起こしたい。

I attempt to transform pottery glazing into a form of painting. 

By integrating its techniques, processes, and even thoughts,

I layer paint on the canvas in the same manner as adding layers of glaze or overglaze.

Just as chemical reactions occur during firing, I want to create surface phenomena with the paint.

ー 陶器の絵画化シリーズ ー

絵付け陶器の構造を絵画作品に変換して制作をしています。
私が絵画化している絵付け陶器は通常、このように作られています。

①土台に基本色を塗る（下絵付け）　

②釉薬をかける　

②さらにその上にペイントを施す（上絵付け）

私の絵画制作のプロセスはある種作陶の翻訳でもあり、これらのプロセスを絵画に変換して制作をしています。
具体的には、陶器における ①素焼きの生地に染付 ②釉薬 ・化粧土③上絵付け装飾(いっちん等)を、

絵画上で ①麻布に青色絵具で彩色 ②メディウム③盛り絵具装飾 に変換させています。
⁡大量の壺・花瓶が置かれている風景写真を麻布に転写させ、その上から絵具を施しています。

普段実際の陶器に絵付けをするように、絵画上で絵付けをするような気持ちで制作をしています。

Turn ceramics into paintings series

The structure of the painting pottery itself is translated into a painting made of acrylic paint.
⁡Usually, a pottery is made like this. First paint basic color and glaze it.

Then add more paint on that. My painting process is a kind of translation of that.
⁡I translated these processes into painting methods.
In particular, I try to convert a painting methods into painting pottery,such as
(1) dyeing on unglazed pottery,

(2) glazing, engobe and

(3) overglaze painting decoration (like ICCHIN, swollen line pattern)

into (1) blue acrylic paint on linen, (2) medium,(3) swollen painted decoration.
A photograph of a landscape with lots of pots and vases is transferred to the linen, and I paint on it.

I am working on a painting, just as I usually paint on actual ceramics.
